Qaswa Technology ("Qaswa," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website and in the course of providing our managed IT, cybersecurity, and AI software services, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have — including rights under Nebraska law.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you request a consultation or assessment, contact us, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message or request.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this website, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URLs. This is used to keep the site secure and to understand general usage.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide consultations, assessments, and services you request;
• Deliver, maintain, secure, and improve our services and this website;
• Communicate with you about your account, engagements, or service updates;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and
• Protect against fraud, security incidents, and misuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

4. How we share information

• Service providers who process information on our behalf (for example, hosting, communications, and analytics providers) under contractual confidentiality and security obligations;
• Legal and safety recipients, where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Qaswa, our clients, or others; and
• Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Client data & our role

When we deliver managed IT, cybersecurity, or software services, we may process information on behalf of our business clients. In those engagements, our client is the controller of that information and Qaswa acts as a service provider or processor, handling the data only on the client's documented instructions and under the data processing terms of our governing services agreement, consistent with Neb. Rev. Stat. § 87-1115. If you are an individual whose information we process on behalf of one of our clients, please direct privacy requests to that client.

6. Data security

Consistent with Neb. Rev. Stat. § 87-808, we maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, and we take reasonable steps to securely dispose of records containing personal information when they are no longer needed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to provide our services, and to comply with our legal, tax, and contractual obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.

8. Your Nebraska privacy rights

The Nebraska Data Privacy Act (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 87-1101 to 87-1130), effective January 1, 2025, gives Nebraska consumers certain rights regarding their personal data. To the extent the Act applies to us, and as a matter of good practice, you may request to:

• Confirm and access the personal data we process about you;
• Correct inaccuracies in your personal data;
• Delete personal data we hold about you;
• Obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable format; and
• Opt out of the sale of personal data or of targeted advertising. (As noted above, we do not sell personal data or conduct targeted advertising.)

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@qaswatechnology.com. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that period by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Appeals

If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or contacting us at info@qaswatechnology.com. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Nebraska Attorney General, which enforces the Nebraska Data Privacy Act, at protectthegoodlife.nebraska.gov. The Act is enforced by the Attorney General and does not provide a private right of action.

9. Data breach notification

In the event of a breach of security involving unencrypted personal information, we will provide notice to affected Nebraska residents and, where required, to the Nebraska Attorney General, in accordance with Nebraska's Financial Data Protection and Consumer Notification of Data Security Breach Act of 2006 (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 87-801 to 87-808).

10. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
